A Burren Lone Tree Clare Ireland - february,lone tree,lowland,pick-lowland,red,roots,twilight,winter,portfolio
I wish you are looking at this one on a well lit computer screen as it deserves it ;-)

The fire was on yesterday morning. Previous forecast announced the possibility of high and middle altitude clouds, though their coverage was to completely obstruct any chance of a good sunrise. I wasn't hoping for much! Yet on looking out, it taught me once again to always be on the ready for an adventure in the Burren.

This fiery twilight kept getting better and better and lasted for ages! Frost was all around, giving rocks and vegetation some additional texture and glow that grit which I really love. Do let your eye wander around the scene to pick up all the details! As often in my photographs, the lone tree became an anchor, seemingly holding its place while everything else burnt.
