There are only a handful of evenings each year when everything falls into place at Lough Bunny. I was lucky to be home that evening and not living too far off this beautiful lake I made sure to get there before sunset. As often in April, the sun shines for a few days over the Burren, and the echo of happy people chancing the cold water for a swim made the experience a little less lonely than usual. The water stood perfectly still and, as the sun slowly set lighting up those beautiful clouds, everything fell into place for a moment to remember.
